Must-Read for Beginners

This is Purple software's September 2025 release, written by Sakaki Kasa with art by K. The protagonist, Kina Yuito, is a 30-year-old salaryman sent back 13 years to his high school days by a demon, where he meets a senpai named Choumai Sui who doesn't exist in his memories. The core is a loop mystery involving time travel, black magic, vampire lore, and the classic Purple software Lovecraftian horror elements. You must update to version 1.03b; older versions have route unlock bugs. There are 4 BAD ENDs and 1 TRUE END. Your first clear will always lock you into a BE—don't panic, that's by design.

The route unlock design in this game is very rigid; playing out of order wastes a ton of time. The official recommended completion order is:

1. BAD END 1
2. BAD END 2
3. BAD END 3
4. BAD END 4
5. TRUE END (First Playthrough)
6. TRUE END (Second Playthrough, True Ending)

A few key mechanics to remember:

1. Choices marked with ◯ are mandatory; skipping them triggers a mid-game BE
2. Choices marked with ☆ are auto-locked on first playthrough, ignore them
3. Some BEs give a return option after viewing—pick NO the first time, YES the second time to save time
4. The true TRUE END requires viewing all 4 BEs and clearing TE once to unlock
5. Save points are marked with ◆; I'll clearly indicate where to save below

II. Common Route Choice Details

From NEW GAME to the point before route branches. Most choices here don't affect the main story, so pick based on preference, but watch for these key nodes.

The Boundary Between Ordinary and Extraordinary
Pick: Go meet Senpai

◯ Pick: At least cover her with a blanket (Mandatory—skipping this leads straight to BE)

What I Can Do Now (Key Branch Point)

Your choice here directly impacts subsequent story and CG recovery:

1. Hide the medicine → Continue main story, leads to all endings
2. Confiscate the medicine → H-scene variation, ends after viewing, used for CG recovery

If you choose to hide the medicine, there's another branch:

- Just run away (CG variation)

You need to pick both for full CGs; either works for main story progression.

Continuing the main story, at the Deim Natio Memoriae scene:
◯ Pick: Let's finish this quickly

Trying Black Magic (Another CG branch point)
- Transformation magic (CG variation)
- Decomposition magic (CG variation)

Either works for main story, but remember to save.

The Third "Key" (Important Save Point)

Your choice here determines which ending you enter:

Save 01 Save here

1. Check the book again → Leads to BAD END 3, BAD END 4, TRUE END
2. Check on Mother → Leads to BAD END 2 (unlockable only after viewing BE2)

III. BAD END 1 Route

The simplest BE—just intentionally pick wrong.

Continue from the common route, at the Deim Natio Memoriae scene pick:
Try to deceive her

Leads directly to BAD END 1.

After viewing the BE, an option appears:
"Do you wish to return?" ⇒ Pick NO

Don't go back the first time; return to title screen.

IV. BAD END 2 Route

This BE is the key to unlocking other routes—must be done first.

From ◆Save 01, pick:
Check on Mother (Auto-locked on first playthrough, manually selectable after viewing BE2)

Continue to Trying Black Magic, pick:
☆ Decomposition magic (Auto-selected on first playthrough)

Leads to BAD END 2.

After viewing, an option appears:
"If you return, you might see new choices. Do you wish to return?"

Pick NO the first time; pick YES on second playthrough to skip back and save time.

V. BAD END 3 Route

Unlocked after viewing BAD END 2.

From ◆Save 01, pick:
Check the book again

Enter the Reason for the Beginning scene, pick:
Embrace Senpai

Leads directly to BAD END 3.

VI. BAD END 4 Route

Also unlocked after viewing BE2.

From ◆Save 01, pick:
Check the book again

Enter the Reason for the Beginning scene, pick:
Not yet

Continue to the Confrontation scene, pick:
Stop the "disappearance"

Leads to BAD END 4.

VII. TRUE END - True Ending

TRUE END has two phases. After your first TE clear, you need to view all 4 BEs and clear it again to see the true ending.

First TRUE END:

From ◆Save 01, pick:
Check the book again

Enter the Reason for the Beginning scene, pick:
Not yet

Continue to the Confrontation scene, pick:
Talk to Senpai

Achieve TRUE END. Save after the ED; this save is used to unlock the true ending.

True TRUE END (Perfect Ending):

Confirm these conditions are met:
1. Viewed BAD END 1, 2, 3, and 4
2. Cleared TRUE END once

Load the save after clearing TRUE END, or replay from ◆Save 01 picking Talk to Senpai again; TRUE EPILOGUE will be added after the ED.

After viewing the true ending, the title screen changes to a photo of the protagonist and heroine together.

VIII. CG Variation Recovery Points

Full CG requires recovering several key variations. I recommend making a few saves while progressing the main story.

1. Confiscate the medicine route
From ◆Save 01 pick Confiscate the medicine, end after viewing the H-scene.

2. Transformation magic route
From ◆Save 01 continue main story, at Trying Black Magic pick Transformation magic, end after viewing CG.

3. Good Idea, Right? variations
After choosing to hide the medicine, at this scene pick both Finish here and Just run away; view both options.
