After clearing the main story of Witch on the Holy Night, I went back to the library and found this side story is actually quite substantial. It's got choices, multiple endings, basically a free DLC. But the routes are convoluted as hell—some choices have hidden consequences that don't show up until way later, and one wrong pick early on locks you into a Bad End. Plus the Steam achievements are bugged and won't pop. This guide breaks down the full route map into one clean flowchart. Follow it and you won't get lost, and you'll nab all achievements in one go.

This side story is titled "Anyone Can Sleep, But Not Laugh." If you finished the main game and need more, definitely play this. It's bigger than expected with full branching choices and multiple endings—not some throwaway bonus content.
There was a guide posted here before that got the general route right, but missed one crucial detail. Some choices have consequences that don't trigger until much later. You can pick correctly at the start, but one seemingly irrelevant choice in the middle still dumps you into a Bad End. I followed that guide, cleared three endings, but the achievement didn't pop—turns out I missed the DEAD END branches.
Achievement Unlock Conditions
Only two achievements in this side story, but the second one is a pain—you need to hit every single BE and DE to get it.
1. The Murderer Is Among Us
Condition: Complete "Anyone Can Sleep, But Not Laugh" with the Happy Ending.
Easy enough—just reach the True End by following the correct choices.
2. Great Detective Kumari
Condition: Confirm all BEs in "Anyone Can Sleep, But Not Laugh" (including DEAD ENDs and their branches).
This one's annoying. There are 2 BEs and 4 DEs, but DE2 and DE4 each have 2 sub-branches, so you're looking at 8 bad endings total. Save at every critical choice for quick cleanup.

Tip: Some choices look irrelevant but actually factor into the final judgment. Don't pick randomly.

DE: 4 (Branches: DE2 has 2, DE4 has 2, totaling 6 bad endings to collect)
The "Great Detective Kumari" achievement requires clearing 2 BEs and 4 DEs (6 total with branches). Most people miss the DE branches, which is why the achievement won't unlock. I recommend clearing the HE first, then going back for the BEs and DEs. Check every branch to ensure nothing's missed.
P.S. Red-marked choices in the flowchart are critical—wrong pick means instant bad end. Save often.
